We believe businesses have a responsibility to leave a positive impact beyond the work they deliver. This summer we donated trade paint to children's homes across Nottingham, helping refresh and brighten the spaces where young people live. It's only possible because of our team and the organisations we work alongside who share the same commitment to giving something back.
Through Clifton ABC we sponsor Nottingham boxer Emmanuel Appiah. This year that meant funding his trip to the Algarve Box Cup in Portugal, where he fought his way to the final in Warburton colours and lost a razor-thin decision. Gene was there supporting from the crowd, and we'll be backing him for the next one.
We donated and built a garden area for the Oncology Unit at Nottingham City Hospital, giving patients and the nurses who care for them somewhere green to take a breath. The plaque is still on the table, and the garden is still growing.
We volunteered at Clifton ABC's home show as proud sponsors. Great to support the local talent and see the community come together for a great show, and another Belt win for the club.
Over the last year our team has been upgrading, maintaining and improving spaces across Nottingham's education and healthcare environments, from classrooms to health centres. Quiet work, done around the people who use these buildings every day.
Our refurbishment at Wilford Hill Crematorium included a new Book of Remembrance Room and an overflow space for services. Work like this doesn't make headlines, but it matters enormously to the families who use it.
